I am in the PF Associates degree paralegal program. I just finished my first semester, and am awaiting my final exam results. I have enjoyed my course so far but I have the same Q's everybody else has. Can you actually get a job with this degree? It was the cheapest option I could find, it is accredited by someone, and it says that it ...

I'm new when it comes to online education. I've read a lot of posts on your experience with Penn Foster and so far so good. There is one question that I have: once I start with my courses how is it going to be per semester? Some other online colleges let you know that you'll be taking one course at a time for like 5 ...

I just started the AS degree in business management mainly because I want to try out this online system before completing a 4 year degree, actually I haven't even started any courses just the math and English assessments... Ultimately I do want to get a BS. I know the BS degree is fairly new, what is the transition like for anyone that has ...

Hello all,
I was very happy to find this forum, it's very helpful! I'm thinking of taking the Penn Foster graphic design program, maybe follow it up with the Web Design certificate. I would love to hear input from anyone taking these courses. Looking into what it entails, I already downloaded trial ...

I haven't see any mention of this anywhere. I know I can call them directly but thought I'd post here to see what responses I'd get. I have 30 credits towards an associates in Buisness Administration and would find it a waste if they couldn't be transferred into one of their Business degrees. Anyone know????

I think everyone who wants to know if they have qualified instructors should know they do not for any of their programs. Period. NO ONE should have to spend money to get answers that they can not trust. It is your choice not to care if they do not have qualified instructors to assist one if you need one. Once again why should it ...

I do not know what your degree is that you are seeking. If you were enrolled in the Criminal Justice bachelor program and you had a question about something would you want someone with only a degree in Biology with no background in Criminal Justice answering your question. According to the department chair this is exactly what would ...

I just want to add, if they had offered to do what they are know offering without it taking all the messages I sent and a threat of an attorney to get answers, I might not be taking action against them. The key word is might. I guess you could say I am a consumer advocate. I have owned my own business and if I had ...

I will start off by answering your question with a question. Why should students being getting answers from unqualified untrained people? They are paying money to get a degree, diploma, or certificate and should be aware that the answer they recieve about any question they have may not be correct. When one pays for a course ...

I did contact student services and they also offered to cancel my course but refused to tell me what it would cost me. As you can imagine I am not about to cancel with out knowing the consequences.
I was more than a third of the way done with the course when I came up with a question. The directions for a particular cut made no ...

When I originally ran into the problem I demanded to speak to the "instructors" supervisor. The Department chair sent me an email telling me that if Kathy, is unable to answer my question they would send it to the author of course. She told me to contact her if I had any further questions. I sent seven reply emails to ...

It sounds like their vet assisting course is in better condition than their grooming course. I got so called modules that require a lot of research into missing information. I am talking basic information. In one I am supposed to be able to identify and determine which shampoo to use for different skin conditions. It gives ...

Please contact me if you are enrolled in one of their courses involving animals. Are you aware that their instructor has no experience or training in anything but being a vet tech and has a degree in biology. This at most qualifies her to teach the vet assisting course. She teaches all of their animal courses. Her ...

I do not know anything about Blackstone. I can tell you my problem I have had and am continunig to have with Penn Foster. I signed up for their Pet Grooming course unifortunately with out asking some serious questions first. When I had a question about one of the trims on a terrier breed, the "instructor" Kathy replied ...

I mentioned yesterday that Penn Foster College is increasing its tuition by some 39 percent over what I am currently paying, and I also suggested that someone at Penn Foster offer an explanation for such a jump in tuition. It turns out I didn't have to wait long for a response:
Terry,
I know you've been a long time fan of Penn Foster ...
