bachelors...and then hoping to get accepted to a Master's program

I have applied to PSU in Portland,
OR for their online degree program and also
filed an online FAFSA.

I am in some very challenging times financially, unemployed
and not making much at self-employment. I will need financial aid to accomplish
completing school.

I talked briefly with the PSU financial aid office. My
understanding from them is I could be eligible for a PELL grant of about
$5800...and a max of $12, 500 in student loans. Due to late filing, I
understood there may not be any Pell money left for '09. and the $12, 500 in
loans would not be enough for tuition and help with living expenses.

Are there any other realistic opportunities for loans? Is
the cap using FAFSA a maximum of $12, 500. Is this the amount of both
subsidized and unsubsidized loans. Is there anyway I can increase this $12,500
amount higher?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

best regards,

Right now I am considering going back to work but these are hard times. I do not have time to enroll in a full time program or to a part time program either. So I was considering the e-learning idea.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with e-learning programs -- for instance the one I’ve been looking into is extremely affordable (about $25 for a package of classes) at a site called NEF University. For this price, the courses could look good on a old resume. The website of the place is www.nefuniversity.org – advice?! Is anyone else looking into online learning?

Looking for scholarship

want to get online degree and I am looking for scholarship but I am neither American nor living in USA.All scholarships need someone to be American first will you please help me my friends?

$1500 scholarship for adult females studying online

A recent study indicates that half of all
adults in the U.S. between the ages of 25 and 60 want to further their
education. One of the largest obstacles for working adults returning to
college is affordability. This problem is compounded by the fact that
almost all financial aid, such as loans, has to be repaid.

In an effort to assist
part-time students continuing their education, eLearners.com has
created a "Where Learning Begins" Scholarship Award in the amount of
$1,500 for the pursuit of an online undergraduate or graduate degree.

For more info, please visit: http://www.elearners.com/ww/.

"How To Pay For Your Online Education"

Unless
you have a rich uncle, paying for your education is going to require
careful thought and a lot of planning. Very few students can afford to
write a check for the full amount of tuition.

Sixty-three
percent of all undergraduates receive some type of financial aid,
according to a 2003-2004 report by the National Center for Education
Statistics.

Federal loans, private loans, grants, scholarships, military tuition assistance and employer tuition assistance are all possible forms of financial aid to pay for your online degree.

A
growing number of people entering, or returning, to school are adult or
non-traditional students. The challenges are different 18 years after
high school graduation. By then there is a lot more to consider than
cramming for midterms, nursing a hangover, or dealing with a sloppy
roommate. And flinging burgers or delivering pizzas isn't likely to
bridge the gap between the amount of money you have and what you owe.
Older students tend to have fulltime jobs, families, household expenses
and consumer debt. The question of how to pay for your education is
timeless. There are really only three answers. You can have someone
else pay, pay for it yourself, or borrow the money.
