Can i top up a dimploma with a masters?

Hi,

I'm 22 yrs old, and working in the HR dept for a local company in Dubai. I wanted to know if there's any way I can do an online dimploma course (online/correspondence - preferably in human resources/public relations) within 1.5 yrs and top it up with a masters degree? If yes, which colleges give that option, because I dont want to do a 3 yr degree course.

Also, is there any college that gives the option to do a degree within 1.5 yrs? Please let me know which colleges are good, and affordable.

First I would like to say hello to everyone. This is my first post although i have been on here for a few days now reading the forums.

I figure that if i give you a little background information about my self then it may help to answer my questions.

I am 25 years old and live in Nashville, TN. When i graduated high school i went to college and attended part time for three years. I picked up my english classes and history classes as well as a few other classes. Total of about 30 credit hours. My girlfriend then which is now my wife got pregnant with our son, so i dropped out of school to work so that i could support them. She had a full ride to college and is about to graduate in may (may 14) as a registered nurse and now i am wanting to go back to school. I will be quiting my current job and will try to get a job in any computer field to gain exp. while i am going to school since my income will not be the main source of income anymore. I am wanting to get my BS in Information Systems but i am not sure what online school is the best for the program. It is not so much as i am wanting the piece of paper as much as i am wanting to learn as much as possible, so i am looking for a school that is know for its programs and acadimics in the technology field.

Any help anyone can give me would be great.

I graduated high school 8 years ago and then because of things going on in my life I didn’t go to college. I have no college credits. I’m kind of stuck at home taking care of family and having limited transportation. I want to get a Bachelors in Science in tourism and Hospitality Management. Is it possible to get all the credits I need through online colleges? Is the degree legitimate? Can I get a job with that degree? I just want to make sure I don’t waste my time and money. I have no work experience and feel lost. Any help would be great. Thanks

Do we have lot of distant learning universities in africa like back in the western countries.

I have been looking for an online distant learning university in Africa for quite sometime now but i seem not to have any luck.

And if there is are they cheaper than most western countries.

The idea of paying $5000 or less for a whole program would be great.

For a computer science programme

Can you help with any distant learning institution across the globe that would cost $5000 or little more if not less for a whole programme, let say computer science.

I'm not looking on becoming a vet assistant, I'm not looking to just have a job in a vet clinic, I'm not looking into going to school in order to just have it mean nothing and be cleaning kennels. I want to be a full blown vet tech/technologist doing almost everything a vet does and pursing job opportuntities working in the zoos,humane societies,etc.. Right now I don't want to be a vet but I still want the opportunity to become one should I pursue further education by attending vet school. What I do want is to obtain either an associates degree, to start, or complete a distance learning program. Either way it has to be online since I am not capable of moving and attending an actual college specializing in this career. What I am having a problem with is deciding which is the best route for me to take in order to end up where I want to be. Does anyone know whether there is a difference between the distance learning program and the degree and what the difference(s) are? Should I choose to take the distance learning program, I have read that I would need to obtain sponsorship through a licensed veterinarian for the clinical portion..is that the same as volunteer work? If not, what are the steps in order to obtain the sponsorship? If I get the degree how then do I go about getting the hands on training and/or experience without just getting hired on to clean out kennels? Any help or information from anyone either going through this or "been there..done that" would be great. Thanks so much in advance.

I am international student and I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science with very good GPA from a US university. I would like to take a Master's Degree in Information Systems/Project Management.

Please suggest me a university which provides the courses online and Issues an I 20. Also I would like to know whether they allow for a CPT ( Curriculum Practical Training ) in the first Semester itself.

Best Paralegal Online College?

Hello Everyone,

I am in need of some help. I am currently researching online colleges to obtain a paralegal degree and/or certification. I am a single mom with two young girls working a full time job. Supporting my family is obviously a huge priority in my life and I want to ensure that the education I receive from this college is the best out there. I will definitely need financial assistance so that will be a deciding factor in my choice also.

My goal initially was to work for a district attorney in criminal law, as this is the most intresting to me, however I do realize that after learning different specialties I might become fond of others as well. Anyway, I am confused on if I should be obtaining my degree in paralegal studies or criminal justice? Also, I am located in California, Los Angeles County, and I am wondering what a paralegal makes?

I have been researching Washington Online Learning Institute ( they only have a certificate program) as well as Kaplan University. I am open to any information you have on either of these colleges or any others that could be a good choice for me.

I changed my mind...I want to major in another field

Currently I'm taking classes at Axia, UOP and so far so good. I read many negative comments regarding UOP but it's working for me (so far). I'm currently studying criminal justice and I will like to have my bachelor's in social science. UOP does not offer that so I realize I have to transfer somewhere else. Is that possible for me to have a associates in criminal justice and a bachelor's in social science. I feel dumb for asking this but I just want to make sure I can do that. Please give me any advice/comments.

I have many questions about attending an online university. The biggest one is how do employers look at these degrees. My understanding from the HR people I've talked to in my wifes company is that they don't hold alot of regard for online degrees yet. They do believe that they will be alot more accepted in the future but as for now they don't see the acceptance. I am beginning a degree at age 35 and I don't have the luxury of quitting my job and attending a full time college. I also don't what it to take 10 years to receive my degree through the traditional asult evening education. That would be like repeadedly jammimg a fork in my eye. Please give me some insight on the acceptance of your professional degrees. PS I am looking into a degree in Business.
