I am in the PF Associates degree paralegal program. I just finished my first semester, and am awaiting my final exam results. I have enjoyed my course so far but I have the same Q's everybody else has. Can you actually get a job with this degree? It was the cheapest option I could find, it is accredited by someone, and it says that it qualifies you to take the NALA exam. So my plan was to try to find a law office I could volunteer with, to get some hands on experience when I am in my last semester. I was also planning on buying the study guides and trying my hand at taking the NALA exam. Is there anybody out there who has taken these classes at PF and been successful in finding a job ????

hi im almost done with my first semester and i love it so far. It is easy to follow and affordable. As long as you read the assigned pages it is fairly easy to find the answers for the test. :) if you have any questions ill be happy to help the best i can

hi! im allison i am in the cda program. im also getting ready for my first semester project im a little bit confused on what exactly they want though. i wrote about everything they asked for but im not exactly sure how it is suposed to be set up and if i gave enough information....it is 9 pages but will not be as mant pages after i type it of course. about how long is yours?

I'm new when it comes to online education. I've read a lot of posts on your experience with Penn Foster and so far so good. There is one question that I have: once I start with my courses how is it going to be per semester? Some other online colleges let you know that you'll be taking one course at a time for like 5 weeks or so. How is Penn Foster?. I just printed out the program brochure (I'm going for Business Management) and I also went over the college catalog briefly and read about the clases per semester. This is probably a stupid question or not but I'm a little nervous about this because completing my degree over the internet with no teachers around is a little overwhealming. I know that once I'm on it will be ok. I've read as much as I can about Penn Foster and so far I'm pleased with what I've found so far.

Business Management Degree Question

I just started the AS degree in business management mainly because I want to try out this online system before completing a 4 year degree, actually I haven't even started any courses just the math and English assessments... Ultimately I do want to get a BS. I know the BS degree is fairly new, what is the transition like for anyone that has done it is it the same format as the AS? Are the 63 credits for the AS used towards the 120 for the BS or do you basically have to restart from unit one for the BS? I ask because I noticed the classes I have to take for the AS don't seem the same as the core units for the BS. Any input would be appreciated.

Hello all,

I was very happy to find this forum, it's very helpful! I'm thinking of taking the Penn Foster graphic design program, maybe follow it up with the Web Design certificate. I would love to hear input from anyone taking these courses. Looking into what it entails, I already downloaded trial versions of Illustrator and Dreamweaver from Adobe, since it will be a couple months before I can start for real, and I'm just TOO curious! So I thought I'd get a little familiar with them.

Does anyone know , when Penn Foster supplies the software, is it the full versions of all ? Cause the tuition is so affordable, and we're talking Illustrator, Dreamweaver , Photoshop and Quark....which cost a bundle in full version.

I'm very interested in what anyone has to say about Penn Foster, even unrelated to the above question. Thanks.

Does PF Take Transfer Credits towards a degree???

I haven't see any mention of this anywhere. I know I can call them directly but thought I'd post here to see what responses I'd get. I have 30 credits towards an associates in Buisness Administration and would find it a waste if they couldn't be transferred into one of their Business degrees. Anyone know????
