the Transfer Scholarship is paid out at $ 500.00 per Semester for four consecutive semesters.

This page also contains a link to the secured on-line application that only takes a few minutes to complete:

www.gcu.edu/ec/jlinde

Grants & adults in the U.S. between the ages of 25 and 60 want to further their
education. One of the largest obstacles for working adults returning to
college is affordability. This problem is compounded by the fact that
almost all financial aid, such as loans, has to be repaid.

In an effort to assist
part-time students continuing their education, eLearners.com has
created a "Where Learning Begins" Scholarship Award in the amount of
$1,500 for the pursuit of an online undergraduate or graduate degree.

For more info, please visit: http://www.elearners.com/ww/.

Re: "How To Pay For Your Online Education"

Hi Christie ...

I have one little angel myself, and all the things it takes to keep her
clothed, fed, and happy definitely adds up, so I can relate! I can only imagine what it costs to keep up with two.

Anyway, locating financial assistance for school depends on several factors. For example:

where you live

the type of school you are attending (accredited, non-accredited) and where the school is located

the type of credential you are seeking (degree, certificate, course)

your employer (is tuition assistance an option?)

You mentioned Commonwealth Open University in another post ... is that the school you are hoping to attend? Unfortunately, in the United States, because they are not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education or CHEA, they are ineligible to participate in Title IV funds .... meaning they can't offer their students access to federal financial aid. You will still have options to take out a private loan ...

Re: Grants for a Online Degree?

One can qualify for Federal Aid and a Pell Grant if a student attends an accredited institution.
