BS in Web Development/Web Multimedia and Animation - Online College or Universities?

Hello, I am active duty military and get tuition assistance. I am trying to pursue an online degree in Web Multimedia and Animation or Website Development. In the near future I want to open a Website Designer Business to create websites mainly for christian organizations (churches, non-profit organizations, and outreach ministries) to help increase their ministries.

Does anybody have any advice as too which online college or online university is trustworthy and a good choice? Does anyone have any idea how do I get a Website Design License to be able to create websites legally?

I tried Kaplan Online University, but found a lot of recent crooked reports in www.ripoffreport.com. I saw over 20 different reports stating that Kaplan is ripping off people constantly. It is a good thing I did my research before I enrolled into the college.

Maybe you guys know some other colleges or universities that are honest and trustworthy. I want to make sure I use my Military Tuition Assistance wisely.

International Student Looking for Best Value AACSB MBA

Hello to everyone in the forum. I'm looking to get an "affordable" MBA from an AACSB Accredited school in the US.

I'm not a US citizen nor do I have any type of US residency. I'm living and working here in Seoul, Korea and I'm looking to get my MBA to further improve my career advancement at my current work.

Here's some info about me:

I have enough in savings so I will be paying the MBA by myself.
I'm currently working full-time so I will have only free time during weekends.
I prefer a computer based, fully online distance learning.
I don't mind taking accelerated programs.

I've read several posts in the forum and at the moment, I'm leaning towards the University of South Dakota due to its AACSB Accreditation and of course, cost. I'm writing if anyone has any other suggestions as it would be greatly appreciated since I know choosing an MBA is not easy, especially for someone applying from overseas.

I'm attempting to choose to go back to school and complete a BS, probably in Business Administration or perhaps Marketing. I travel frequently as part of my job. My goal is to complete my BS to ensure I have the paper necessary for future promotions. However, I am equally interested in completing a Masters a few years down the road. I am currently 30 years old. Have Lots of military education through the Air Force (currently out of the military) and 21 credits earned through a community college.

- It is important to me that I have the ability to complete my Master's a few years down the line.

- Receive as much credit as possible for CLEP or equivalent testing options

- Able to complete my degree sooner, rather than later (Accelerated or otherwise - I am not afraid of hard work)

- Be affordable (I have a limited budget - However payment plans etc may open up the possibilities some. I would also qualify for GI Bill if accepted, but the modest amount paid probably won't cover 100% of any program)

- Last the degree come from a generally respected institution...it doesn't need to be Harvard. Just respectable.

I've narrowed it down, but have difficulties deciding and was hoping you might have some thoughts. Any suggestions outside of these are welcome!

Columbia Southern University - Conflicted because only has National Accreditation (Everything else seems to fit the bill)

TROY University - Seems more expensive and perhaps slower with only 30 Semester Hours accepted via CLEPs or examinations

Baker College Online - Seems reasonable, concerned about pace. Plus it appears I would first have to enter the Associates program and complete an Associates

Fort Hays State University - Max 30 Semester Hours accepted by examination, VERY inexpensive at $161 an hour, Accelerated Offered

American Military University - $250 per credit hour for undergraduate-level courses and $275 for graduate-level courses, Accelerated, Regional & National Accreditation, Up to 90 credit hours transferred and/or earned from examination...not sure of max from examination allowed though

Have you heard or know anything about any of these? Any other you might recommend?!?

Online MBA -- affordable schools with best reputation? Help, please!

Hi. I live and work in the DC Metropolitan area where there is fierce job market competition. I really want to obtain my MBA but have to do it online due to my crazy schedule. I need a reputable school that I can actually afford. Additionally, I'd like to have a "concentration" or "focus" in either accounting, financial management, or contracts management... everything around here seems to be government driven, so that's something I need to consider too. This town is full of MBAs from fantastic schools that I simply cannot afford; I’m afraid I need a miracle to be competitive in the job market! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which online college is best for BS/BA in Finance ?

I am looking to get my Bachelors of Science in Finance and then go onto my Master at the Hans Drucker School of Management's program for a Masters in Financial Engineering.

I am trying to figure out which is the best online college in terms of affordability, teacher guidance, best reputation in business world and career assistance after graduation. I am also considering going with an accelerated degree program but would like to have my options for both. I am currently looking at Western Governors University, University of Maryland University College, University of Massachusetts Amherst and Colorado Technical University.

CTU seems to have the edge in terms of the wy they structured the courses with the chance to participate in live classrooms with teachers when you are able to attend live classes, guide support from actual teachers and accelerated degree program to get your BA in Finance in only 15 months. I am concerned about their career services after graduation, the high cost of the tuition and their acceptance in the business world for employment after school.

University of Maryland University College seems to help with career services after graduation with their undergrads.

They also have a course to Intern with employers which I feel is a big plus too. Having employment experience is

everything.

Does anyone also have advice on where else I can do networking to get my nameout there while I am school so I can

line up employment by the time graduation comes around ?
