• Re: BOUA ? UCOEA ? SACS ?

SteveFoerster: kcdpas:Rochville University is a known degree mill, I am afraid. Look up CHEA's database and USDE websites, if the school is not listed there, you have wasted your money. There is no short cuts in education. Good luck with your Rochville University degree. http://chea.org/search/actionInst.asp For someone like the ...

Lester: Donald: I'm currently a county government employee in the state of Kentucky. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration from Rochville University. • Re: I need some help.. please

Microsoft certification is a good way to get you in the door as far as finding an IT job is concerned. But an associate degree and subsequent bachelor in technology would be superior simply it won't expire or need renew for the next version. Today's economy, there are more people looking then company hiring. So, employers have the ...
• Re: Aspen seeks approval for Doctorate

Aspen University is one of the best NA schools in my opinion. I almost signed up if CSU did not accept me. The bad blood between NA and RA are from competing students enrollment and has nothing to do with quality of education.

• Re: I want to, but can I?

You know what you want in life, then just need to bite the bullet so to speak. Sign up with a accredited school with good reputations, work hard and you will succeed. I had putting off my masters for many years due to the fear of GMAT/GRE exams. After I signed up elearning.com with Steve and Cajun's encouragement. Now, I took the GRE ...

• Re: Aspen seeks approval for Doctorate

SteveFoerster: Cajun:I don't know if it would be useless in academia or not. After all, how many times have we seen professors on staff at various schools shamed for having FAKE doctorates from diploma and degree mills? More than a couple dozen I would suppose. Also if Texas is now recognizing NA degrees, I wonder how this ...

• Re: Online Education

Cajun:Exactly, although accreditation is designed to ensure quality, being unaccredited does not necessarily mean substandard. For example, in Louisiana the Louisiana Baptist University (a seminary) seems to be well regarded, yet last I checked they were unaccredited. It may be very well be true. However, I would argue, by the ...

• Re: University of Phoenix

sindeez: It is true that there is a low standard of acceptance at UoP and yes, they are a private university (for profit) as is Harvard. There are many grateful people who worked hard to get their degree in spite of a family of three to support on a single income from a third-shift, factory job. Today, having a degree, regardless of ...

tcord1964:Being unaccredited does not necessarily make a school terrible, a mill or a scam, but with so many accredited options out there, why even consider it? Yup, it makes perfect sense. why bother if in doubt.
• Re: Online Education?

Cajun: Nana, July 24, 2008 is the date that the THECB will be reviewing recognition of DETC and like accrediting agencies...good things are expected. Glad to hear that. The THECB should recognize DETC, it has been long over due without a valid reason. Yahoo!!!
