About pebbles21

Barely out of high school, Pebbles21 enlisted in the United States Air Force. As a Computer Techinican, she was immersed in many different aspects of computers to include help desk, security, networking, desktop support, and many more. Pebbles21 decided that though she enjoyed what she did, she did not want technology to be her final career. Pebbles21 served 10 years active duty and decided that it was time to settle down and separated from the military. During her time active duty, she was able to attend college, but only online due to the rotating work schedule. Before her final separation date, she received a BA in History with the desire to teach. Even with all the experience behind her, it did not help with getting into teaching- mainly due to bad planning on her part- so she went back to the technology field. Pebbles21 was still not happy and made a move that she had not thought of before, but is very happy in her new career (not a job). She is now a Technical Editor for a government contract firm. Even though still in the technology field, she is able to use her writing and research skills learned while she pursued her degree in History and is enjoying every minute of it. Pebbles21 is now looking to go to graduate school to earn a degree in Professional Writing. She had a great experience attending her first online university, American Military University, and has hopes that the university that she decides to pursue her graduate studies at will be a rewarding experience as well.
