I am a prospective student and was wondering about the success of PF helping others finding a Proctor and Practicum in this program if we are unable to find one for ourselves. On the phone they said they were willing when that was one of my concerns, but was curious, has anyone had help, and if so was it a good experience? Thank you for your help! I hope to be in the future a Penn Foster student ^_^

It seems this is one area where Penn Foster College is a bit week.  I have no experience in the Vet Tech program myself, but I have heard from at least one student who couldn't find vet in their area which would allow a distance learning student to do the practicum in their clinic (due to liability concerns).  The student contacted PFC, but was essentially told they were on their own to find a vet to do the practicum.   Perhaps PFC has recently addressed this issue, but that is the feedback I have heard in regard to this particular program.
