I am going to  Kaplan University and am changing my major to medical transcription. I already have a BS in Education, but want to do medical transcription from my home. I want to take online classes. Does anyone know if this is a good school for this field? I have already started in a different field. Do you need coding for medical transcript...I need help also if I change schools how do I change my financial aid? Also is there a short way to do this?

I've never heard anything bad about Kaplan.  Have you contacted people who hire medical transcribers and asked them what to look for in a program?  If you want to end up with that kind of job, it's their opinion that will matter most.
