Interesting articles & resources. Since taking my first university correspondance course (way back in 1990! but it was via postage stamp, not e-mail back then) I'd always wondered what it took to become a "correspondance prof". I have a better idea now.
I get the sense that many of the frequent posters teach on-line courses. From a practical stand-point, what attracted you to add on-line instructor/adjunct (etc., etc.) to your career paths? How many of you have a full time day job and teach? It is easy to balance the 2 jobs and your personal lives?
Always something thought provoking on this site.
Thanks,
