    Transfering credit

Is it complicated to transfer from a campus university to an online university? I have three years into a campus however my work hours are going to prevent me from going to the campus. They do not offer evening hours for classes. Thank you for your informations. How does finaincial aid work? Can I transfer my financial aid?

    Re: Transfering credit

Yes, you ought to be able to transfer that much credit to many schools, although not all.  Ask schools what their transfer credit limit is.  They'll probably tell you in terms of semester-hours, and if so then three years of full time study should be about 90 semester-hours.

And the financial aid people at your new school should be able to get you set up without too much trouble.

I second what Steve has advised but also want to add that Excelsior College will accept up to 100% of the required credits for a degree and Ashford will transfer up to 99 towards  BS.  Just thought I'd offer that up.

Does anyone know what St. Leo will allow in credit transfers?

Hmm, not offhand.  If you're interested enough to want to know that about them, though, I'd say you're ready to talk to their admissions people.  Just get everything you're counting on, like transfer credit allowance, in writing before you sign anything.  That's not a slight against St. Leo, I think that's good advice for dealing with everyone from the smallest trade school to Harvard.
