Looking for inexpensive WASC accredited on-line school.

Hi!  I am currently trying to patch academic holes in my transcripts from a local community college, and due to my graveyard-shift job going to school durirng the day is extremely hard.  I know about National University but they are priced out of my range.  Are there any other on-line schools or  community colleges that have a great on-line program and are WASC accredited?  Thanks in advance!

Do you really need something specifically WASC accredited, or would any regionally accredited school be okay?  Are you taking courses to transfer to your community college, or did you mean something else?

Yeah, I need WASC because I could get my Associates right now if my GPA was higher.  I just need to take one or two classes to do it, and the community college where most of my credits are only takes WASC, or thats what they've told me.

I've seen this sort of situation before, and I'll bet you a zillion dollars that they're saying that because they're thinking locally, and not about online options.  Ask someone there who actually knows what they're talking about and I'll bet any regionally accredited school would be fine.

Ok, I will talk directly with a counselor.  Do you have any recommendations for an inexpensive, online regionally accredited school that I can ask the counselor about?

    How about Louisiana State University?

I believe Cajun's referring to LSU's Independent and Distance Learning program, which has a number of very good, extremely inexpensive courses that might suit you.  I can't imagine any reason a community college wouldn't accept them in transfer.  LSU is SACS accredited, which is WASC's counterpart in the South.

Just wanted to say thank you!  I talked to the evaluator at my school (Mt. San Jacinto Community College) and they said that LSU distance ed. was transferable!  So now I can continue with college at my pace and timing.  Thanks again!!
