I am currently using a chronological resume format and I am looking to apply for a job in which I have no experience in. However i feel that my MBA (graduate in Jan 2010) might of actually given me enough to maybe pull it off. I was wondering how one might taylor a resume for a position (financial industry) that they have no experince and all thier adult life they have been nothing but electronics technicians(me). I know people change carrers and given a chance in an interview I can wow them but I need advice the best method for setting up a resume for such.

I would recommend an acheivement resume, where you can highlight the experiences and achievements that although may not have been your primary job or area of responsibility, may demonstrate to the potential employer the skills they are looking for.  Perhaps you didn't work in finance, but did you do budgets?  Accounting?  That type of stuff...

This isn't exactly an answer to the question you were asking, but if your school has business and/or finance student organizations, I'd be sure to join them as a way to add something relevant to your resume.  And any opportunity to network is in your favor.
