    financial aid/scholarships

    Greetings!

I am doing some research for going back to school. I am a husband with a family of 5, working a full time job and a part time job to make ends meet. My wife also works full time. I am trying to get back into nursing, working on getting my BSN (currently have an LVN License.) This may be a redundant question, but is there ANY financial aid/ scholarship/ grants out there for somone who will be attending an accredited ONLINE ONLY university? I am working through Indiana State University, but it has this program you go through first, which is called the College Network. Now they will "loan" you the money upfront, however, you start paying right away. I just don't have that kind of money. We are strapped beyond belief as it is. (thus the reason for getting back into nursing) I am looking for a way to still do this program, but hopefully get it paid for by way of scholarships or with something that would work like a student loan. Pay it back after you start working in that profession...once schooling is completed. I have found the elearners website very informative, but could not find if this College (both ISU and the College Network) will qualify with the Federal Financial Aid programs. Also, the College Network on some of their paperwork does state: "We are not a College." I believe. I am thinking that this might hinder any possibility of getting any financial aid of any kind. Although, it stated that on all of their paperwork to get "their" loan.

Any help anyone can provide is most appreciated. Thank you!
