Oliver:I’m currently stuck in deciding between SMC and Ecole Superieure
de Gestion (France) for my Doctorate in Business Administration. I can see from
the blog and other sources that SMC's reputation is growing steadily and that
it will probably be regarded as one of the best online business schools in the
near future.
It does seem okay for certain purposes, but it would probably help them to become better regarded generally were other Swiss universities to recognize them.
ESG is a new entrant in the DBA arena but its programme seems
to be well balanced between practice and research and the modules are focussed
on areas that I appreciate the most. I would be grateful if somebody could
share his/her views on ESG and help me shape my decision.
I've never heard of it. French-language higher education isn't my specialty, but I've heard there's a lot of abuse of the VAE system by institutions passing themselves off as universities, such as "Robert de Sorbon". I would tread very, very carefully.
