It would appear to me, sir, that you just started one.  Tell us of your studies and experiences with your school of choice.

So far it is going well. Tougher than I thought, though. I am on my third course of ten. Each course has four one hour sessions and a 10 page overview of the course. I made up the courses myself, so it is different for each person. My orals will be over the phone for three days. Suffice it to say, it is not an easy program. My dissertation will be 150-200 pages long. It will be over the American Metal Movement of the 1980's.

Are you in a doctoral program?  If so which one?

The Dr. of Arts was what I was considering as well, but in Leadership studies.  Can you tell us about your experience so far?  I am particularly interested.  For example, how do they carry out the Great Conversation?

So far it has been great. The courses are challenging. You use the Great Books at a backdrop to the coursework. Everything revolves around them. You would have to talk to them about other specialities. The courses that you compose, the program you build is comprised of selection of the Great Books.
