There used to be a blog from a Liberty University student here at eLearners, but it has been inactive for quite some time.  Perhaps that student graduated.  I'm not sure.

Is there anything you want to discuss about Liberty?  I've always thought reasonably well of them.

Please anyone give the pros and cons of Liberty University.  I am looking into their Ph. D in Counseling program. The fact that they are a Christian school is a major plus for me!

Well, they're well known, famous or infamous depending upon one's religious stance I suppose.  Very conservative, well regarded in states like Texas, Liberty U. has probably the best debate team around period, they tend to be heavily involved in politics and tend to be what Columbia is for Liberal thinking, only for Conservatives.

Other than that they have a good academic reputation overall.

They're regionally accredited, relatively inexpensive, and have a good reputation for effective distance learning.  If you like their religious affiliation as well, then I'd encourage you to consider them strongly.
