Online Course Offerings at Bellevue- Not Offering the Ones I Need for My Program- WTF?

Online Course Offerings at Bellevue- Not Offering the Ones I Need for My Program- WTF?

I got excited when I saw that Bellevue offers a BS in Logistics Management and that I could get a minor in Accounting.  Then even more excited when I saw that I could get a Masters degree in Contracts and Acquisitions.  This all lines up perfectly with the career change I have in mind.  I got on here and have not heard anything bad about Bellevue, so I was really feeling good.

Then I looked at the class schedule for upcoming course offerings online.  None of the classes, not even for the minor, were being offered online this upcoming fall semester.  They weren't offered in the accelerated format either.  Just for kicks I looked to see if they were offered in a classroom setting (although I don't live in Nebraska and that is not an option for me) and they weren't even offered in class.  This is my greatest fear - I will committ to an institution for a specific program and they will not offer the courses I need or not offer them often enough.  I need to finish my degree as efficiently as I can, for cost reasons and because I desperately want to change career fields.  I can't waste precious time and money waiting for classes I need to be offered.  This is very disappointing.  Does anyone here know something that I do not know about their class schedules or online course offerings?

    Thanks.

No, but the school might.  Have you asked them yet?

No, I haven't contacted them yet.  I just found this website today and have been busy reading the forums and taking notes on schools I want to check out.  I'd like to see what some of the other schools have to offer and how they all stack up.  If Bellevue still has the best line up of courses, then I'll contact them to see if I am missing something.  Thanks for your quick response.

You need to contact the school.  I am sitting next to a Bellevue student right now actually at work and she told me that your enrollment advisor will actually enroll you in the courses you need, you do not enroll in the courses individually yourself so likely they have a list you cannot see or do not really need to see.  Contact them and ask...

Thanks for the information.  That makes me feel a little better.  I have narrowed it down to APUS or Bellevue, so I need to compare the programs and courses.  If I decide Bellevue is better suited for me, then I will call them and make sure I can get all the courses I need.

     Thanks again.

Sounds like a plan.  Good luck and let us know what you decide.Yes

You have narrowed your choices down to two good schools.  I don't think you could go wrong with either one.  I have never heard a student complain about either APUS or Bellevue.

Oddly enough I have 2 people working for me that are going to school online, one with APUS who has nothing but good things to say and another at Bellevue who likewise has nothing but good things to say.

    Both are winners.

For me, I don't know about never, but certainly not often, and none readily come to mind.  I'm on the bandwagon -- either school should be fine if they seem to meet your needs.
