    moving to a different sch..

Hi, I am currently enrolled at CCU working on my BS in Psychology. I am thin king of moving to a different school such as Peru State College. Can anyone give me some info about that school? How they deliver their online courses etc...  Thanks!!

Well as you probably already know, Peru is regionally accredited whereas CCU is DETC accredited.  Have you checked to see if your current credits will transfer over?  That would be a big consideration.

From what I understand Peru uses Blackboard to deliver course content like almost everyone else but as for how the classes themselves are structured, I'm willing to
bet they leave a lot of it up to the professor.

They are a state school and non-profit.  Anything else you need?

Is there any particular reason you are thinking of leaving California Coast University?  I only ask because I was seriously considering enrolling with them for a graduate program.  What are your thoughts, likes and dislikes about CCU?

I know Peru State College will accept a DETC-accredited associates degree for entry into a bachelor's program, but I'm not sure how they view credit transfers from a nationally accredited bachelor's degree program into their undergrad programs.

It would be strange if they didn't take nationally accredited transfer credit a la carte if they're willing to take it en masse as an Associate's degree.

According to their site, they use Blackboard as their Learning Management System (LMS) -- I haven't used Blackboard since 2005, but it was easy to navigate and use back then.

They also offer 8 week courses and 16 week courses for the psychology degree program.
