    Online Education?

I'm out of school and thinking about enrolling in an online colllege. It seems a lot cheaper and convenient. The thing is I want to study more than one thing. Do you think it's possible to enroll in more than one online school at the same time? And do you think it's worth it?Please Tell me From where i can get information about this.

I think that enrolling in more than one program at a time is a mistake.  Going to school online is more convenient, but it isn't less work.  It would be better to finish one program, and then do the other.

What are the two topics that interest you? Is there any way to find one program that has elements of both?  People who like both business and computers often study Management Information Systems, for example.

    Hi stacypringal,

I agree with Steve on this one. Online education is more convenient, but it takes just as long (if not longer) to progress through courses. I think it is possible to enroll in more than one school, but I do not think it's worth it. It will be too stressful to submit two financial aid applications, handle the coursework at two different institutions, and manage everything else in your life!

For starters, give online education a try. For example, see if you even like taking classes over the Internet first. You may actually hate it (it's certainly not for everybody!).

    Re: Online Education?

I feel you on the desire to enroll in more than one school at once to speed things along.  In fact for a brief time I was enrolled at both Kaplan University and Southwestern College when making the transition from one school to the other.  Frankly it was a miserable experience and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Secondly I doubled up my accelerated MBA courses at
Ashford University for a semester.  That was a painful and grueling mistake that I also do not recommend anyone ever do.

In short, getting in too big of a hurry results in being overwhelmed very quickly.  BUT if you must do it, it is possible though highly unadvisable.
