    PC Maintenance Technology

I am thinking about changing my major to PC maintenance technology and was wondering if there was anyone else in this program that could tell me what it is like?

Sorry I'm not in the program, but I did take my A+ and Network+ exams while working on a similar type of program offered at a community college.  I learned a lot though my career in IT was brief and trouble filled....I finished and was hired just in time for the "dot com" bubble burst.

    Good luck.

I wonder how much of a job market there is for that.  It used to be that we'd switch out parts in PCs and all that, but now things are so cheap it's almost like PCs are disposable, and when one breaks down it's easiest just to replace it.
