    Hi Christie ...

I have one little angel myself, and all the things it takes to keep her clothed, fed, and happy definitely adds up, so I can relate! I can only imagine what it costs to keep up with two.

Anyway, locating financial assistance for school depends on several factors. For example:

    • where you live
    • the type of school you are attending (accredited, non-accredited) and where the school is located
    • the type of credential you are seeking (degree, certificate, course)
    • your employer (is tuition assistance an option?)

You mentioned Commonwealth Open University in another post ... is that the school you are hoping to attend? Unfortunately, in the United States, because they are not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education or CHEA, they are ineligible to participate in Title IV funds .... meaning they can't offer their students access to federal financial aid. You will still have options to take out a private loan ...
