Liberty University or TUI University

    Liberty University or TUI University

I'm really stuck deciding between the two schools. I like TUI University because I noticed the pricing for their degree is very low and you don't have to buy any books. Both are regionally accredited. I think Liberty has the advantage of having a B&M presence. I was initially planning on going to TUI, but my HR dept said if I still have plans to pursue a law degree, especially if I want to obtain a good scholarship, in addition to my GPA and LSAT, the school will take into account where I obtain my undergraduate degree. My HR rep was not too excited about TUI being an online only school. To a certain point, I could discount my HR rep's feedback, but she is currently on her 4th year in law school on a full scholarship. I'm also trying to get a good scholarship. She also asked why I'm not just going to the local university. The problem is that the school will not accept any of my 31 ACE credits and CLEP subject exams I have completed. Don't feel like taking another 40 units.

I was currently enrolled in one of the big 3, but when talking with some law school advisors, they said if at all possible, try to go to a good B&M school that has an online program. I checked many schools and couldn't find any that allows subject clep exams and ace credit like LU.

I would like to get feedback from people who went to these schools and get your feedback on both. I know with LU, you have to take two religious course. I don't really have any issues with that. I do like that it has a B&M presence. If I didn't have any goals of trying to obtain a scholarship or teach at a local college in California, I wouldn't worry about the school being online only. I'm really stuck between the two because working with the advisors at TUI has been really great. On LU, I'm a little nervous because I don't know if I can handle 2 eight week courses with full time.
