    Kaplan University

    Hi there,

My name is Michael Goldberg and I'm a Senior Admissions Advisor with Kaplan University.  I know how hard it is to find the right school, so please let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

    Re: Kaplan University

I am sorry for posting to this but I could not figure out how to post to any other Kaplan forum. I am about to finish my third term at Kaplan and I want to know when I will be doing my clinicals. I have asked everyone and no one will give me a straight answer. I am obtaining my AAS in medical office management. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Hi Michael ...  Just curious if anyone at Kaplan reads my blog.  I haven't heard it mentioned anywhere, but that doesn't mean much.

I am about to finish my four years at Kaplan.  I was hoping I would hear something from someone at Kaplan about all the props I give them. Big Smile  I am a one-man recruiting machine.

Deanspty, do you believe that Kaplan ripped you off? Please give us examples, thanks!

A word of advice: posting the exact same thing in multiple forums makes it appear as though you have an agenda you're not sharing.  That wouldn't be the case, now would it??

Let me turn the question around: What have you signed that would obligate you to pay them anything beyond the application fee?

    Dear loveme,

I would recommend contacting the school right away so that they can help you in this situation. I'm sure they will be very accommodating. These things happen--don't worry!

Victoria's right, but I'd add that you shouldn't just leave voicemail or email for the one person you've been working with.  Call until you're speaking with a real live person who can route you to someone who can actually help you.

Thanks Victoria. i have left messages and emails to the admissions advisor but i still havent heard from him. i am worried because i have so much on my plate and i dont think i can handle getting slapped in the face with a charge and i havent even started the class. what do i do if that happens?

    Re: Kaplan University

If at all possible follow up all of your conversations with emails because they are in WRITING and therefore hold some legal weight.  A verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on.
