    Introduction

    Hi,

My name is Rachel Anders, I am a bus driver who is currently seeking a BS in Secondary Education with a concentration in English from Grand Canyon University.

I really enjoy working with at-risk youth in the Iredell-Statesville School System. I can't wait to speak with you all!

    Re: Introduction

    Hi Rachel,

I am a student at Grand Canyon also. My major is Business Admin. When did you start? How do you like the program so far? I am in my third semester and am having to work pretty hard. I have done well with the financial aide office but it was not until recently that I got a new adviser and got all my transfer credits worked out. Best to you and your pursuit of a degree.

    Re: Introduction

    Hi Laura:

I will officially start on May 4th, but so far, I am enjoying the helpful staff and everyone I have been reporting too. My only concern is licenseing once I finish my degree. But as someone else told me, as long as the program at GCU is Arizona State Board approved, then I should be fine. Eventually, I will finish a degree in Physchology which is my true passion, but need a better job right now for the money to get my MA as a LMFT. :)

Thanks for the replies I feel most welcome...

Psychology is an awesome career, one that I hope to do someday. Since I am in therapy for being in therapy in the first place, well you can just say I already know the ins and outs of the job! Good Luck on your endeavors!
