    Hello Everyone,

Any one experience with Ashworth College MBA? The college is recognized by DETC, which is recognized agency by CHEA.

Please advice if you have experience with Ashworth College.

    Thanks,

    Malk

Better yet! Just go directly to http://www.aspen.edu/  and avoid giving your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address to someone you don't know.  That's WAY too invasive and smells too much like social engineering to set you up for every spammer, direct mail and telemarketing scam on the planetAngry

Here is the direct link to Aspen University. Aspen is one of the featured schools on this website. The MBA program is $4,500.00 if you pay it up front. It is a good program. I am about half way through the Aspen MBA right now.

Are you insinuating that Aspen University is a scam? Could you elaborate more on your comment? From my research on AU, the consensus is generally good. Although it is only DETC accredited. It is on my list of possible schools for my MSIT program, due to the affordability.

    Thanks!

I'm not Henry, but I don't think that is what he is saying. There are some schools that are known for being aggressive to the point of being annoying. I don’t know if Aspen is one of these and I haven’t heard anything to that end but you just never know.

For example some perfectly legit schools that will try everything in their power to enroll you are:

    Ashworth University

    Kaplan University

    University of Phoenix

    American Intercontinental University

    Among others…

I think Henry was wrong on this one. Any unsubstantiated claim and accusation does not belong to this forum. You may have strong opinions about any particular school, but you need back it up with facts.

Sorry if I'm not following you. What does aggressive marketing techniques have to do with accreditation?

Amber I suppose it depends.  Last time I checked U of Houston did not have an online MBA, so for me that option was out.  Are you looking for an MBA?
