Has anybody taken the QC Design School Interior Decorating course? I really want to start in this career ...I'm a stay home mom and I can only take online courses at this time... I'm confused about all the accreditation and diplomas and associations that you find online about interior decorating... I live in canada and the schools I'm thinking about enrolling at would be the ICS and the QC Design School.

Could anybody help me choose the best school? Thank you!!

 

That one I don't know.  The only Interior Decorator or Interior Design program that's a degree program available by distance that I know of is the Bachelor's program from Westwood:

They have a regionally accredited BA in Interior Design...all by DL.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that QC Design School is accredited, so if you ever wanted to transfer to a different school, your academic work probably won't be recognized.

ICS Cananda says that it is accredited by the Canadian Education and Training Accreditation Commission (CETAC). I'm not familiar with accreditation agencies outside of the United States, so I can't provide much insight about how their programs are evaluated...
