taking the assessment online and the wait.

i have taken the assessment tests online, and sent in my proof of high school completion, however.. it says that the assessments are shipped, and the classes that im READY to take are still in process of being shipped, but the online book is available.

my question is. how long does it take until those books are shipped to me? why would they send me the exams through mail if i have already taken them, been graded on them, and passed them?

is this a normal wait i will have to go through? this is ridiculous.

What sort of assessment does Penn Foster have?

In my experience, it takes about a week to ten days to receive the course materials in the mail, which is not unreasonable.  Remember, Penn Foster College offers "correspondence" courses, not "online" courses, which means most of your materials will be mailed to you, although you can view pdf versions of your study guides online.  Since you have already taken and passed the assessment exams, you would not have to take them again, so I don't know why you received a message that they were sent to you.  Did you try directing your question to Penn Foster College student services before deciding to insult the people who visit this board?

You did not indicate how long you have been waiting for your course materials.  Perhaps that is why you did not receive an immediate answer to your question.
