    Networking @ AMU

I am new Member of this Forum, as well as a New Student at AMU.  I am finishing up a BA in Security Management.

My question is about "Networking" at AMU.  More specifically, is it encouraged or frowned upon?  It seems like ALOT of the Professors and Students are in the same line of work, so it definitely seems like it would exist.

    Thanks,Dave

    Re: Networking @ AMU

That's an interesting question.  I used to do career services, not at AMU but at a somewhat similar school, and I know our instructors were often part time and had day jobs in industry, and they used to hire promising students.  I expect that most schools realize that a primary reason students are there is to get a better job and wouldn't have a problem.
