Received My Diploma in the Mail Today!

I received a large cardboard envelope in the mail today. Inside of it was my diploma from Ashford for my B.A. in Organizational Management. Even though I already had official notification that I had graduated and had already received a copy of my transcripts, getting to actually see the diploma makes it all worthwhile. This gives me more desire and purpose to continue working on my MBA classes than ever before. It definitely makes it worth every that I put into it. Next up, MBA by January, 2011.

Congratulations!  Are you doing the MBA through Ashford also, or somewhere else?

I decided to stay with Ashford as the curriculum is what I was looking for, the prices are O.K., I like the accelerated six week - one class at a time program, and admission was relatively easy since I was already a graduate of their undergrad program.

Hey Lithoguy, it feels pretty darn good doesn't it?  May I recommend you pull out the diploma, just look at it real carefully and reward yourself with a cold beer while you do?  Anyhow, I remember getting my first diploma in the mail as somewhat anticlimatic but after I got over it I learned how to celebrate and have done so twice now, once with my BS and once for my MBA.  Go do something special and have a good time, you deserve it.  As for that Ashford MBA, good choice and good luck, watch out for that 6 month (give or take) quantitative hump Managerial Accounting, Finance and Economics...
