Carldeb: Where are you getting your MBA and what do you like and dislike about the program? I'm always interested in hearing about MBA programs.
Good luck!!

Obviously from Ashford University which I do recommend. I like the challenge of the courses. I thought that it would not be challenging for some reason but there was a time in Economics that I thought of quitting the program. It was tough but I learned alot. The quantitive part of the school is intense but I feel as long as you try and you study hard you will be okay. I also like that it is all researched based. Too many times in my undergraduate I would just cram for a test and brain dump after. The use of research papers here ensure you understand the subject on more than just the surface. And of the whole program I only really have two dislikes. I don’t like the fact that classes start one after another with no breaks in between. All I am asking is for one week off! But I guess that is what makes it go by so quick. The other is the fact that the semesters are so short it is really hard to study, do the required work, and read everything and not fall behind. I have dedicated 2 hours every day of the week to school work. Some might think it is not enough but for me personally it works.
The school is challenging and I cannot wait to be finished. If you are not comfortable with formulas, numbers, and stats, you might want to reconsider. Don’t get me wrong it is very doable because math was never my strong point but be ready to STUDY and work as many problems as you can. I do not plan for a doctorate, so what is next for me is my Private Pilot License. I’ve always wanted to be a pilot and this is my graduation present from my wife. I cant wait!!!!!
