I have nothing but good things to say abut Ashford. I recently graduated from there with my bachelor's degree and am in my first class for an MBA. Great online setup, really good people available to help you when needed. No complaints.

I've never heard much either way about NAU.  It could be an unsung hero or it could be something different.  Ashford, however, gets praised often around here.

Ashford MBA Alumni here, nothing but good things to say here.  As for NAU, what Steve said.

    Hi Rich,

I am a bit confused regarding the 8wk courses and the 16 wk courses at APU. It is the obvious view that the 8 wks are accelereated or is there more to it than that.

    Thank you!

Usually a course that takes half the time goes twice as fast.  So if you take four courses in a semester, and you take them all at the same time and they're all sixteen weeks long, you'll be working as hard as if you take four courses in a semester, and you take them in sequence with each one four weeks long.
