I'm seriously beginning to feel tired, and I feel like my progress is like glue..... Especially weekends with three kids are taking a toll on me. With one kid I was able - with the help of my spouse - to study from morning until night on weekends. With two kids I was able to study a good 4-5 hours on day-time weekends, and thereafter from 20:00 With three kids...MAN - I'M EXHAUSTED All my energy going totally down the drain during the day. The kids get up at 05:30, and it's full throttle until 19:45. Two adults needed all the time.
I have to rest 45-60 minutes before starting my studies, but even then - when starting around 21:00 - I'm wasted Doesn't make things anything better that I'll have to hit the sack before 00:00 since I have to have a clear mind on my work the next day. I sincerly hope that our new boss - D. Lady - doesn't change anything before I finish my MBA. A new scenario would be the last I need now. (Don't think he will thoough. He seems like a very reasonable man). Body - please adjust

Cajun:Hi John, how much further have you got to go? Working on my 9th out of 11 courses, and also the capstone and final exam. Was planning to do the capstone now in addition to my left courses, but I have no chance as it is now
The bad thing is that my memory - proabably due to stress levels - is failing on subjects not related to job and studies. For example - just when I was going to start my studies today, I remembered that I'd forgotten that tomorrow was bicycle day for my oldest, and I promised to buy her new "support-wheels" because the existing ones were broken. So I had to drive to the store and buy/mount them, loosing 1.5 hours. And that's precious time for me now, when I barely am able to cram in 3 hours a day. Case it I could just have dropped in when driving home from job, but COMPLETELY forgot it, and it is not the first incident

John, I know what you mean. I have four kids, and while the older three usually are with their mom, I've had one or more of the older ones around for several weeks now. Now, I love this, but at the same time as you know it's not conducive to getting schoolwork done. But it doesn't sound like you have far to go, and Dave Lady (the school's new president) has always seemed like a reasonable guy, so I don't think he'll throw anything weird at you while you're on the home stretch. Hang in there! -=Steve=-

Hey John, I know that is easy to throw in the towel now, but you don't have much further to go! That's awesome!! I can only imagine with 3 kids, I only have one daughter and she's enough. Keep your mind on the prize and the fact that it's gonna get "greater later"...You will definitely be an inspiration to another parent(s) who have dreams & hopes of getting a degree. Stay with it and stay encouraged Jayna

Hang in there buddy. You are a good man, and good father. You WILL DO IT!!!!! Just remember that. About a week ago I passed the Aspen U final exam!!!!! I was nervous as hell, but I did it. It's funny, many things I thought I had forgotten came flooding back to me. A couple of suggestions for the open book final. Buy a fold up IT rolling cart for your books. It really helps. Also, tell the proctor that you will be taking many books with you, and that you need a side table to spread them out. Further, you have 4 hours to complete the three essays. That seems like plenty of time, but it flys by. I took my time and did a good first essay. However, I took too much time on the first essay. So, the second essay was pretty good. When I was down to the wire, I had to rush on the third essay, resulting in a very skimpy so so essay. (I did answer the question though). keep going JD!!!!! Abner
