Hi bird welcome to the forum.  I'm not a PF student but I do remember the feeling when I was about to open my first college algebra book...  Wow... I'm glad that's over with.  (just kidding)...........................(not really)Wink

The good news is that if you did Algebra in high school then you've already seen this material before -- although some of us longer ago than others!

    Anyway, good luck!

    Hi bird1819.

I just finished my exams for the first semester of Computer Information Systems.  I started in January 2008.  It's been a year and 1/2 since I started, but it seems like yesterday.  I'm preparing now for my proctored exams.  I borrowed Algebra books from my local high school to help me re-learn what I didn't know.  It's been worth every effort I've put into it just to have finally gotten this far.

Good Luck with your studies, and if you run into a glitch, someone is more than happy to help you out.

    Study On!

Agreed -- PurpleMath always ends up high on lists of good sites for help with math.
