I am looking into returning to school to get a bachleor's in electronic engineering. I like most work, family with kids, and online would work best for me. I am trying to figure out which school has the best program for the money and at the same time how employers really look at the degree you get from an online school. Right know it looks as if Devry ( very $$$-575/credit hr) and Excelsior are the two I have found with the program I want. Before commiting so much mula $$ to any online school I am trying to make sure it will be worth it! Any thoughts?

Both of those schools have pretty good reputations, but I did not know they were so darn pricey! LOL.  I do agree that you are concerned with the validity of it.  I would say research on the good and the bad of both.  Employers are not very concerned on where you got your degree from, as long as you have acquired the skills and knowledge to do the job.  Now electronic engineering is very lucrative and you shouldn't have a problem obtaining a position upon graduation.  Of course, it highly depends on the job market.  But research, research, research is the best answer I can give. 

Is ABET accreditation important to you?  You may want to take that into consideration when it comes to an engineering major, have you looked into it?  I know Devry has certain programs in certain locations that are ABET as does Excelsior, but they are specific to certain programs https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_College/About/Accreditation.
