Re: Ashford Better than AIU Cost or education schedule????

Ok So I have researched for months on colleges.  I narrowed it down to Ashford or AIU.  My future Is Master of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine.  So I have to get my bachelorette pre req.  So my options are open to what I want them to be.  They both offer good courses and are about 15000(Ashford) less.  With gov. help and future goals of success I would like the money to not be a factor.  And despite AIU probation which personally is in a business sense of corporate money Ploy.  I feel that their probation is a personal decision to hold on personal reasoning.  The facts on their probation do not affect your degree you can attain.  Unflexible schedules with AIU??? More flexible with Ashford???  My crisis is To Ashford or not to AIU ??  I am researching ppls opinions on the two and you seem to know a little about both that I am looking at.  Thank you for you reading from me the confused.......

Could you let me know a little more about your situation.  I am right now narrowed my college search to AIU or Ashford and both are calling me to apply.  I told them I wanted to research the propaganda.  Such as you and what you have gone through.  I noticed you started in 07 with online school?  WHen was your problem with algebra.  And did you switch yet to Ashford?

    Hi Amber,

Since you already know what sort of Master's program you want, and it's a highly specialized one, I'd strongly urge you to contact those schools that offer it that may interest you and ask them for advice on a Bachelor's program that would make you a competitive applicant.

Any sort of medical program will probably want strong coursework in sciences like Biology and Chemistry.  I'm not sure how easy that will be to find by distance.
