Hey Cajun, I appreciate your updates and insight into Bellevue University. I am about ready to submit my application to attend this fall and I have to say the only real thing holding me back are these group project assignments. But I am guessing most online university will have some kind of group projects?

Don't let that hold you back.  I don't think every class has a group project, plus this is a graduate project, the undergrads are not required to do this.  Besides, even though it is highly, highly annoying, the fact that they are using our work to present a solution to a town in need of help not only adds a sense of purpose, but is something that could even be added to a resume, never waste an opportunity to pad the ol' CV .

 

Besides, group work I think is largely at the discretion of the instructor.  Some instructors think this is a good idea, most don't seem to bother with it.  I had group work I had to do at Ashford and Southwestern too.  In all instances it was annoying but I do not for a second regret attending either school.  Bellevue is actually smarter about it than most in that they give you a real life problem to solve rather than a simple case study.
