Best A.A Business Management Regionally Accredited?

I was interested in Penn Foster with their A.S Business management degree until I saw that they are only nationally accredited. I like the low cost and how the courses can be as long or short as you need them to be. Could someone direct me to a college with low fees and  a A.A instead of A.S for business management (as well as regionally accredited). Are all online colleges at your own pace? I like that idea incase I fall behind. Some courses I can learn fairly quick others i may need more time to study. Thank you!!!!

    Hi LexOz!

Not all online colleges' distance learning courses are "at your own pace." I'm taking a self-paced course, and all that means is that I can take as long I want to complete my assignments.

Most online courses require that assignments must be turned in within a week of being assigned. (Did that make any sense? It may sounds a bit confusing!) Some colleges are more flexible than others, so it's one of those questions you have to ask when you talk to an enrollment/admissions counselor.

Here is a Web page that lists associate's degrees in business. I wasn't able to filter out the "A.S." degrees, but most of the listings are from regionally accredited schools. Let me know if this was helpful! Smile

Just out of curiosity why would you prefer an  AA over an AS?  Also the only school I have attended online or otherwise that was at my own pace was a nationally accredited college.  That being said there are some few and far in between regionally accredited schools that are self paced, I just cannot think of any that offer an AA or AS off the top of my head.

Hmm.  I can't think of a regionally accredited school that let people go at their own pace and that has an AA in Business either.  You may just want to make sure you don't overload yourself as you sign up for classes.  And as for AA vs. AS, in some schools those are meaningfully different, like where AA degrees are meant for transfer and AS degrees are not, but at other schools that's not the case, so you may not want to dismiss all AS programs out of hand.

A possibility - it's up to you to find out if it works.

Most Penn foster cources are ACE reviewed.  Confirm which ones.

Take all but one course short of graduation from Penn Foster.  Apply to Excelsior College and transfer in the ACE reviewed courses.   Depending on general education courses and other specific requirements you might have a course or two to take which a CLEP or two might satisfy.

Don't count on an AA in business management because the AA usually allows fewer applied courses and requires more natural or social sciences or humanities.
