I assume that the World College of which you bespeak is the World College which is a division of Cleveland Institute of Electronics www.cie-wc.edu , which is a legit institution accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council www.detc.org , which is a legit accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation www.chea.org and the United States Department of Education www.ed.gov .

Yes, it's the same school. It gets a good write-up in Bears' Guide.

    Re: World College

I think it is the CIE...

I pulled this from the FAQ

"How do I know I’ll receive a quality education at World College?

World College’s baccalaureate curriculums have been carefully designed to provide a student with a well rounded distance learning education in electronics and computer technology. Many lessons include hands-on lab experiments that will give you the confidence to solve real world problems you might encounter in the field.

In addition, World College is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) located in Washington, D.C. The DETC is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and by the U.S. Department of Education."

It looks like an interesting program to say the least.
