A MESSAGE FROM NYIT’S PRESIDENT
It is my pleasure to introduce you to Ellis College of New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Ellis College offers online undergraduate and graduate degree programs that feature the flexibility and convenience desired by working adult students. Our programs are designed and structured to fit into the lives of busy adults, who require programs that work within their time constraints and competing commitments.
All Ellis courses are built specifically for online delivery using some of the most advanced learning theories and technologies available. We emphasize active learning, peer-to-peer communication and teamwork, and a “real-world” orientation that emphasizes measurable achievements in the acquisition of skills and knowledge.
THE NYIT CONNECTION
Ellis is an academic branch of NYIT, a campus-based institution with 50 years of experience educating students for fields ranging from architecture and engineering, to humanities, to medicine and other health professions. NYIT is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. As an established leader in career-oriented professional education, NYIT has more than 11,000 students, 69,000 alumni, and 400 faculty members at three New York campuses and at multiple campuses in locations around the world.
Ellis College students enjoy the advantages and privileges of all NYIT students – including eligibility for federal financial aid. Additionally, when they graduate, Ellis students earn a degree from NYIT. Because Ellis students are not required to attend classes at an NYIT campus, our programs are available to adult students anywhere in the world.
