Many of my co-workers have at least a bachelor’s degree, but there are some who have a master’s and even a doctorate degree. Me? I’m still working

re: So, Where Did You Go To School?

It's kind of odd how people ask that question. What does someone's alma mater actually tell me about a person? Nothing really, except where they might have lived at some point. And with online education, that bit of information isn't so relevant anymore.

Additionally, obtaining my BS degree was really more about the challenge and personal acheivement. However, I do think having a degree may allow me to promote higher in my organization than I would have without the degree??

P.S. I started my educational journey at Penn Foster (Ed Direct) too.

Good Luck!

I have taught at two good, but not great, universities.

Yes, I have heard the discussions about alma maters. I suppose it matters to some. As for me, it is about having the degree. Where it comes from is much less of a concern.
