FSMFN is the nation's longest running midwifery education program. FSMFN's curricula is materialized and strengthened by a strong sense of community consisting of faculty, staff, and alumni. Their entire goal is to make sure that the student has the best education and experience in the field as possible.

Accreditation

Frontier School of Midwifery & Family Nursing Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033; 404-679-4500; http://www.sacscoc.org/). FSMFN is institutionally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (formerly ACNM Division of Accreditation). The nurse-midwifery post-master's certificate program and master's program are fully accredited by ACME, 8403 Colesville Road, Suite 1550, Silver Spring, MD 20910-6374, (240) 485-1800. The Master of Science in Nursing program and post master's certificates are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), 61 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006, (212) 363-5555.
