Hey everyone!  I hope your week has been going well!  It's time for another edition of the top 5 posts of the week!

Top 5 posts of the week

1.)  Ter starts the list again this week with her post "The Higher Education Act" on Financial Aid Answers.  It's a quick read and gives a really useful overview about the Higher Education Act and how the government works.  She also lists some important parts of the incorporated proposal.  Check it out!!

2.)  Are you looking for reasons NOT to get an MBA?  If so you should check out Cajun's post "10 Good Excuses for Business People to Not Get an MBA" over at his blog My Ashford University Experience.  Go ahead, check it out.  You know you're curious!

3.)  Cajun wrote two other great posts called "10 Traps, Pitfalls and Shortcomings of Earning a Degree Online Part I (1-5)" and "10 Traps, Pitfalls and Shortcomings of Earning a Degree Online Part II (6-10)."  In these two part installations he covers a lot of different topics like technology, will power, fatigue, stress, distractions, getting overwhelmed and feeling detached or lonely.  If you are thinking about going to school online you should definitely check out this post to learn exactly what you're getting yourself into! Smile

4.)  Susan's post "The Abused Woman and E-Learning: Creating Networks and Support" on her blog Inside eLearning by Susan Smith Nash, Ph.D.  In it she discusses some women and how online education helped them change their lives.  It is a really interesting post and I recommend everyone to check it out!

5.)  Adrian helped us welcome Excelsior College to our family in his post "Excelsior College - Welcome to eLearners.com!" here at The eLearners News Blog.  Check it out for more information!

That's it for me this week folks!  I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Greetings and salutations, I am your friendly neighborhood Content Manager here at eLearners.com. (I am also mom to a seemingly tireless 3-year-old girl and owner to a cat that hates me. Oh well - can't win 'em all.)

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rutgers College and am thisclose to completing my master's degree in instructional design from Western Illinois University later this year.
