Top 5 Posts of the Week at eLearners.com - 02/10/08

Hey everyone!  I don't know about you, but I absolutely can’t believe that it’s February already.  Where did January go!?!  It's time for another edition of the top 5 posts of the week! Top 5 posts of the week

1.)  Ter wrote a great post called "Did You Graduate High School After January 2005?" over at Financial Aid Answers.  In it you will find some information about being eligible for an Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG).  Check it out!

2.)  Victoria helped us welcome another two schools to the eLearners community in her posts "University of Illinois at Chicago - Welcome to eLearners.com!and "University of La Verne - Welcome to eLearners.com!" here on The eLearners News Blog.  If you want to learn more, or welcome them to our family check out the post!  Smile

3.)  I think that everyone needs to check out Susan's post "How To Write Short Answer Questions for Essay Tests" over on her blog Inside eLearning by Susan Smith Nash, Ph.D.  She gives some great tips to think about when trying to write short answer essays!

4.)  In WheelCipher's post "Fan Mail Friday!" over at his blog My Norwich University Experience you will find a really great response to a great piece of fan mail!  It's always great to hear feedback from other online learners out there! Smile

Lastly, I would just like to point out three posts from two weeks ago that I think that everyone should take a look at!  Smile

1.)  Cajun wrote a great post this week called “The Resume Ninja’s Guide to…uh…Resumes” on his blog My Ashford University Experience.  In it, the Resume Ninja *ahem* I mean, Cajun, gives us some great tips about how to look at and edit your resume.  It is really a post worth checking out!

2.)  Victoria wrote “Congratulations to this online learner!” over on Inspiration for Education.  It’s a short post but it brings to our attention to Mr. Randy Potts, who was announced as one of the DETC’s "2008 Outstanding Graduates".  Check out the article to read more and to find a link to our very own interview with Mr. Potts!

3.)  Anyone going to college should really check out Ter’s post “Search for Those Scholarships Now” over on her blog Financial Aid Answers.  She gives some great tips about where to look for scholarships and reminds everyone that NOW is the time to search for scholarships!  Check it out!! Smile

Well, I hope everyone has a fantastic week ahead of them!!  Smile

Greetings and salutations, I am your friendly neighborhood Content Manager here at eLearners.com. (I am also mom to a seemingly tireless 3-year-old girl and owner to a cat that hates me. Oh well - can't win 'em all.)

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rutgers College and am thisclose to completing my master's degree in instructional design from Western Illinois University later this year.
