Top 5 Posts of the Week at eLearners.com - 01/25/08

Hey everyone!  It's time for another edition of the top 5 posts of the week! Top 5 posts of the week

1.)  Susan wrote a really great post this week called "Research Paper Shortcuts: Five Steps" at her blog Inside eLearning by Susan Smith Nash, Ph.D.  I don't know about you, but I personally love it when I find tips about how to make my life easier when it comes to writing research papers!  If you're like me and you should definitely check out this post!

2.)  Cat's post "Is Distance Education Too Convenient?" at her blog My Penn Foster Career School Experience discusses the convenience of distance education and how it is both good and bad.  It's definitely something that you need to think about if you're planning on going back to school online.  A great post reminder that making time for your education can be difficult at times but it's worth it!

3.)  Cajun's post "The MBA is Smoking Hot: However Don't Expect Immediate Results" over on his blog My Ashford University Experience is a must-read, especially if you're getting, or planning on getting your MBA!  It provides a bit of hope that you're making the right choice by furthering your education!

4.) Steve wrote a great post called "Neat stuff" over at his blog My St. Petersburg College Experience.  In it he mentions how the distance learning process actually allowed some eighth grade students to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio!  That's a long way to go and they didn't even have to leave the comfort of their own home!  He also talks about how successful his daughter is doing at Penn Foster's online high school program.  This is just proof that online education can work anyone who wishes to pursue it!

5.)  Adrian and Helen helped us welcome some more new additions to eLearners.com in their posts "Welcome Abroad, Concordia University!" and "Introducing Santa Barbara Business College" here on The eLearners News Blog.  Check out the posts to find out more about Concordia University and Santa Barbara Business College and to welcome them! Yes

Well, I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!  Smile

Greetings and salutations, I am your friendly neighborhood Content Manager here at eLearners.com. (I am also mom to a seemingly tireless 3-year-old girl and owner to a cat that hates me. Oh well - can't win 'em all.)

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rutgers College and am thisclose to completing my master's degree in instructional design from Western Illinois University later this year.
