Good for you, Jamie Lynn Spears!

Celebrity Quiz:

According to People Magazine, Jamie Lynn Spears, the pregnant 16-year-old sister of embattled pop tart Britney Spears, was spotted today in hometown of Kentwood, LA with:

  • A) a new T-Mobile Sidekick phone, encrusted in hot pink Swarovski crystals
  • B) her 19-year-old paramour, Casey Aldridge, finally out of hiding
  • C) a GED study guide

Believe it or not, but the answer is C) a study guide for the GED.

And if I'm not mistaken, trend-watchers, you can get your own copy of McGraw-Hill's Contemporary's Complete GED:
Comprehensive Study Program for the High School Equivalency Examination
for less than $25 at Amazon.com!

We are not in the business of being preachy, but, hey, we do happen to believe that education - at any age - is important. And we applaud "Zoey" for showing concern for her future: preparing to earn a high school equivalency is a smart move.

Too many of us know full well what it's like to have a dream derailed by a decidedly unexpected situation ... That being said, not enough of the hard-working American public know that a college degree IS attainable and that it can be done affordably and relatively quickly (but it's not a cake walk.)
