Top 5 Posts of the Week at eLearners.com - 11/26/07

I hope everyone had a great holiday!!  I am certainly stuffed!!  Now, on to the top 5 posts of the week! Top 5 posts of the week

1.) We're welcoming another University to our growing list of accredited online colleges and universities!  "University of Toledo, Welcome to eLearners.com!" on The eLearners News Blog provides everyone with a brief welcome to our newest addition!

2.) Irishmum78 wrote a great post "Are Certificates worth the Paper They're Printed On?" on her blog Affordable Online Education Blog.  In it she explains a little bit about certificate programs and how you really need to look into the certificate program and what it offers before you jump right into them.  Make sure that it will provide you with what you need!!

3.) "Computer Crashes, Backup Systems and Viruses" on Cajun's blog My Ashford University Experience - presented by eLearners.com is yet another great reminder for everyone to BACK UP YOUR IMPORTANT DATA!!!  I can't stress enough how important backing up your stuff is.  Just remember Murphy's Law; whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time.  If you want more information about backing up your data see one of my previous posts!

4.) Another post that I think that everyone should take a look at is "Social Networks and eLearning: Can They Help You Succeed?" on Inside eLearning by Susan Smith Nash, Ph.D.  In this post Susan gives a wonderful breakdown of some popular social networking websites and how they can help you.  Check it out! Smile

5.) I'm going to end with tcord's post "The Lowdown on Penn Foster College Final Exams" on his blog My Penn Foster College Experience. In it he talks about how his exams went and is a great inside look at what to expect if you have to take any proctored exams!

Once again, I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!!! Yes Smile

Greetings and salutations, I am your friendly neighborhood Content Director here at eLearners.com. (I am also mom to a seemingly tireless 4-year-old girl and owner to a cat that hates me. Oh well - can't win 'em all.)

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rutgers College and am thisclose to completing my master's degree in instructional design from Western Illinois University later this year.
