Britney, Britney, Britney ...

|
Honestly, who is anyone to say that Britney is a bad mom? (Besides ex-bodyguard, "Fat Tony" Barretto, who is currently blabbing on national television that he personally witnessed our fallen pop princess abusing drugs twice after a brief stint in rehab.) Let's be honest: if any of our parenting gaffes were ever made public, we'd be just as embarrassed as ... as ... as ... well, Brit-Brit after her dismal comeback performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. You can redeem youself, Britney! Here are our suggestions:
|
Recommendation #1:
Now, it's doubtful that Britney is looking to change careers and become a preschool teacher or day care worker, however, some of the skills learned in an ECE program might help to quiet those nasty nay-sayers! For example:

| - "Understand young children’s typical and atypical developmental characteristics and needs" - this may have helped her to understand ex-hubby K-Fed better
- "Use developmentally appropriate techniques to guide young
children's behaviors and promote development and encourage positive
relationships" - "No, baby, attacking the paparazzi with umbrellas is bad."
- "Identify and respond appropriately to childhood conditions regarding health, safety, and nutrition" - no more Cheetos for Jayden James!

Recommendation #2
Last week in Los Angeles, poor Britney was charged with 2 misdemeanors, hit-and-run and driving without a valid licence, stemming from an incident back in August that was (big surprise) caught on video. [See it here.] According to CNN.com, "Spears, 25,
was filmed by paparazzi that day steering her car into another vehicle
as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. After
assessing the damage to her own car only, the video showed her walking
away.
Three days after the accident, the owner of the other vehicle, Kim
Robard-Rifkin, filed a police report, and investigators later
determined that Spears does not have a license, officials said."
If you get a ticket in the state of California, you can take 8-hour online traffic school course and get the ticket dismissed from your record -- bye, bye to points on your driving record and
the increased insurance cost! Unfortunately, this won't keep Brit out of
trouble (she's facing 6 months of jail time!), but maybe the judge
would look favorably on her if she took a refresher course in "How to
Make a Right Turn" or "Basic Etiquette: What to Do When You've Crashed
into Someone Else's Car."
