Top 3 Posts of the Week at eLearners.com - 08/10/07

Aloha, and welcome to another weekly edition of the top 3 posts for the week!  I know what you’re thinking.  You’re probably thinking something along the lines of “But, it’s been the top 5 posts for the last two weeks” and “What’s happened to the other 2 posts?”  Some possible answers to this question are: 1.) They ran away, 2.) They’re hiding or 3.) I ate them.  Take your pick; it’ll be like one of those “choose your own adventure” books, except, with the same outcome for each choice.

Huzzah for Fridays!

1.)  I'll start with Cajun's post "10 Sure signs that you should not go to school online" on his blog My Ashford University Experience.  This is a great post to check out.  He gives an awesome list of traits to look for in yourself when considering online education.  Online education is not for everyone and this post points out some types of people who it may not be suited for.

2.)  Victoria's post "The Story of the World's Oldest College Graduate" on the Inspiration for Education blog is a wonderful and inspiring post!  It proves that you are never too old to go back to school!  Education is for anyone who is willing to learn. Smile

3.)  Scott's (WheelCipher's) post "Thinking of My Options" on his blog My Kaplan University Experience is a reminder that education is what you make of it.  You can spend tons and tons of money on a degree, and if you don't put the effort into it, then it does you no good.  You can put all of your effort towards earning your degree at a college that may not necessarily cost you an arm, leg and your first born child, and you will almost definitely be able to gain the education that you need to make yourself marketable.

Well, that's all for this week!  I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!

Greetings and salutations, I am your friendly neighborhood Content Director here at eLearners.com. (I am also mom to a seemingly tireless 4-year-old girl and owner to a cat that hates me. Oh well - can't win 'em all.)

I have a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rutgers College and am thisclose to completing my master's degree in instructional design from Western Illinois University later this year.
